Severely damaged eye due to cataract surgery done by Dr Graves On 8/25/25 I had what should have been or so I was told a simple cataract procedure. This began my nightmare and ultimately resulted in a complete Cornea Transplant. Dr Graves was referred by another doctor who happens to be in the same, Eye Physicians group. While doing the cataract surgery Dr Graves said he caught my cornea with an instrument he was using and he did not realize it until the light shined a certain way. He said he tore my Cornea. From that point on is where the nightmare started. He scheduled me to come back to his office the very next morning for him to check on my eye. Lady at the front desk is terrible. Called confirming our appointment the day before. The day of we arrive and are told our referral expired in October. I asked her how because my daughter was seen in December and she wanted to argue until she found where I was correct. She then stated we just needed to get a new referral before EVERY appointment since we were just seen once a year. Again, wrong, my child is seen every two months. She was very incompetent in everything she said, on top of being rude about it. You would think her job would require confirming all was good to go before confirming appointments. We understand we are all human and mistakes happen. Had she of been the slightest bit helpful or said sorry for the inconvenience, it would have changed the whole dynamic of the

Dr. Graves is a very competent and experienced surgeon and eye specialist. I felt like he had my best interest at heart.

Second year going in both visits was fast thoughal polite and professional. Thank you for looking after my eyes!

My eye glasses had a spot that looks like water got under the frame and won’t come out. There is a few scratches on them too. Dr. Said I don’t need new glasses even though I’ve had these glasses for 8 years . Little change in my eyes he said. I got a pair anyway with all the bells and whistles & an extra pair of just plain glasses in case I break a pair. I can’t see without glasses so I have to have glasses. I have to have my new glasses remade because I can see better with my old glasses. I’ll see how that goes. I have another appointment coming up.
