I have been using Paradise for six years for my pets’ veterinary care, and when the previous doctor was there, I never ran into these issues. He was always extremely transparent with pricing and services, so this recent experience was especially disappointing. What should have been a simple routine check-up and vaccine appointment ended up taking 2 hours and 40 minutes, which is far too long, especially with a baby at home. I came in already expecting my dog likely had an ear infection and would need medication for that. However, I was given two additional medications without being asked, discussed with, or given the option to decline. I am so grateful for the entire staff at Paradise Animal Hospital. Peggy listened to my urgent concern for my dog who was having abdominal pain. She managed to squeeze me in for a same day appoinment. The Veterinary Assistant, Jesse, reviewed the entire history of the situation and treated my dog as if he were her own. Jesse shared everything that they may need to do for my dog. I did not meet Dr. Henderson until after my dog was thoroughly evaluated in her office/treatment room. Dr. Henderson provided a systematic and detailed narrative of her findings. Although I did not witness the actual evaluation of my dog, I came away from the appointment confident in the care my dog received and that Dr. Henderson provided a practical and methodical diagnosis and treatment for my dog. Dr Henderson and her staff are extremely friendly, understanding, and passionate about what they do. Anytime my dog's had an issue, Dr. Henderson and her staff accommodate us as quickly as possible. The reliability and expertise Dr. Henderson provide are invaluable. Stryker and I really appreciate you and the rest of the Paradise staff !

I have not used the hospital, vet, or boarding services, only the crematory services. But they are so compassionate when I have had my animals cremated. Very kind people and they have handled 3 of my animals with dignity after their passing. Very affordable cremation packages and my babies were back with me quickly. I am very pleased with their service and would highly recommend.

We have been bringing our pets here for well over 20 years. I am sorry to say that It has totally changed since Dr. Knittel retired. It is over priced and difficult to get an appt. So thankful for Peggy, the receptionist. She goes above and beyond to help you and is truly compassionate.
