PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre

I would like to thank the entire team at PAM Specialty Care for everything they did for Antonio. He arrived there very ill, and through the care, dedication, and compassion of the staff, he made tremendous improvement during his stay. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and well cared for, and their efforts truly made a difference in his recovery. I also want to give special recognition to Tara Bryk, who has been such a wonderful person to speak with and to work with throughout this process. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern made everything so much easier for us, and we are truly grateful.

My Dad was admitted to post acute medical from the hospital with severe respiratory issues and very deconditioned. With the help of the doctors , nurses aides, respiratory therapists , social worker Tara and the whole staff there , he has miraculously recovered. The care was wonderful ! . Respiratory therapists were excellent, and my dad and myself, and Family were showed a lot of compassion and understanding as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to send a loved one here . We are so grateful to all of you !

Let me start this off first by saying: do not judge a book by its cover. Before my husbands stay at PAM, we had been in facilities that are in beautiful buildings with state of the art everything. This is not that place BUT it was the best place we had been out of every facility! Don’t let the old building fool you. The money they lack for renovations and things of the sort, they make up for in their ability and desire to do their jobs and do their jobs incredibly well! The staff is incredible! From RT to PT or Speech to Nurses to CNA’s to doctors - they all care. And if you’ve ever had a loved one in any sort of medical situation, you know that is the first and foremost important thing. To the nurses, aides, cafeteria, PT, RT, housekeeping , Dr Almeky, and Dr Desai! I cannot express how grateful I am for the care I received from all at this facility! With a wide range of patients that were critical to not so critical the staff was able to treat all patients with care and compassion that is required for this type of establishment. I would highly recommend this facility!!! There are some stand out employees! I would love to name them but afraid to leave one out. They listened to me and helped me achieve my goals! I have been a patient at PAM for over 5 weeks. I have been blessed to receive the care and compassion that is provided by this fine staff. Many times people are put into facilities without knowing the level of care that can be expected. I wish to assist you and others in eliminating the guess work that this fine facility has to offer. From the cleaning crew to nursing staff, PA’s; NP,s; up to the CEO I have received attention from these individuals to include true caring and love to assist me with my healing process. They have supported me both physically and mentally. My recovery is exceptional. I still have a road to haul but I know I will be successful from the care I received at PAM.
