Special Care Smiles

My daughter who has autism is a patient of Special Care Smiles and has seen them prior for regular cleanings. Today she had to have her baby teeth pulled under anesthesia. Prior to her appointment today I had a detailed discussion over the phone with Dr.Gallagher about her not so great past experiences with anesthesia and how she has woken up very combative and confused in the past. Even over the phone Dr.Gallagher was very kind and attentive to detail. In the office he was very patient and worked so well with her. We had such an amazing experience from start to finish with her anesthesia experience. My daughter woke up smiling and was in great spirits. Dr.Holena was also amazing. All the workers are absolutely amazing. They are kind, gentle and extremely helpful in explaining. Makes the children feel very comfortable. The dentist is the BEST there is. I am so pleased with the way our appointments go and a bonus is the amazing support dogs they have. Would highly recommend Dr. Holena to any person

We had such a wonderful experience at Special Care Smiles! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so warm, patient, and welcoming. They made my children feel completely comfortable, and the appointment went smoother than I ever could have hoped for. The staff here are amazing. They go above and beyond to make my kids feel comfortable and happy. The kids look forward to seeing the therapy dogs every time we go. The office is clean and efficient we are in and out in a timely manner everytime. I can’t recommend the office and Dr. Holena enough

Hands-down the best pediatric dentist we’ve ever been to! My six-year-old had several traumatic experiences at other offices and it’s been a challenge to find the right place. But Dr. Helena, Latte, Petey (the puppies), and the entire team completely changed that. They’re incredibly patient, kind, and truly exceptional with kids. The whole staff together creates such a calm, comforting environment! We no longer have any stress or anxiety about dentist visits. We enjoy going to their office! Highly recommend! ❤️
