We had our first visit with Dr.Dewar today and I was extremely pleased. Our 2.5 year old is very shy around strangers but he adored him. He had excellent bedside manner, took his time to do a thorough examination and gave us very comprehensive feedback and advice. It was so nice not to be rushed out the door for once. So glad we found this place!

Calls cps if you decide you don't want to see them for newborn screening. Even though your newborn already saw another pediatrician for their newborn screening. Alex Gaudin is a horrible person.

This was our first visit with this pediatrician, Dr Sonya Head for my toddler, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. The doctor seemed disengaged and didn’t make any effort to connect with my child or put her at ease, which felt especially important for a first-time visit with a parent and child. There was little explanation during the appointment, and I left with more questions than answers. It also felt impersonal overall. Dr. Head made no attempt to build rapport, told me all children act out which is NOT true, told me to pause the video my baby was watching and small touches mean a lot. My children recently became patients at Palmetto Pediatrics, and so far our experience has been rewarding. Everyone has been very kind. Dr. Dewar is very professional and compassionate.

We love Dr. Head for many reasons! She is patient, understanding, personable, caring, supportive and helps in anyway she can. She was my pediatrician and now she takes care of my child, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The front desk staff have consistently shown politeness, whether on the phone or in person. The nurses under Dr. Head's supervision have been great. While we appreciate our doctor, it's evident that many others do too. Consequently, longer wait times and difficulty scheduling same-day sick visits can be frustrating! The only suggestion I have, which may not be essential but could be beneficial, is that the waiting rooms could use some love and a touch of Lysol!
