I got my first crown, which was crazy for me because I’m only 30 and I was super nervous about it, but they talked to me through the whole thing and explained why it was needed and why just putting another filling on it would not work. I want to start off by saying my experience today at Palm Lake dental group was terrible. My family and I have been coming here on and off over the years since I was a teenager and I am now in my 30s. I’ve not been a patient for a few years due to my insurance changing but my parents have still been coming. With my new insurance, I was able to come back to my family dentist today with the hopes of getting a great experience like in the past. Just to find out that after driving 45 minutes in a tropical storm to get here and going through the process of getting x-rays done and providing my insurance information. I called, they ran my insurance, and said my cleaning was fully covered and I would not be charged because they would give me what I requested; then, when you sit in the chair, it isn't the hygienist who gives you a cleaning as is typical in my experience; no, the dentist does the cleaning so that he can claim he gave you a comprehensive examination instead of a cleaning that allows him to play with insurance codes and bill you at a different rate from what you expect. I recently lost my job of 15 years and my previous dentist couldn’t see me for months. Palm Lake Dental group had scheduled me and my children immediately . Today was my appointment and everything was fabulous and professional. From the very friendly, compassionate and understanding receptionist who answered the phone, the hygienist was very kind, though and gentle. The dentist explained to me and shown me any areas of concern and addressed them honestly and was knowledgeable. I felt very reassured and comfortable with the wonderful experience I had today. I would strongly recommend this dental office if you would like a genuine and caring dental experience.

Great dental group - Dr. Filion and his team are fantastic. I’ve received great service. From an emergency on New Years that was taken care of to having to squeeze me in to accommodate my busy schedule. They truly care about their patients and a very personable.
