Palm City Family Dentists: Dr. Derek Martin DMD

I had a filling redone today with Dr. Martin and a hygienist. He was completely delightful. They've mastered the art of efficient without feeling like they are in a rush or couldn't care less. Done in no time and felt like really good quality. On a side note, I really like how he spoke to the hygienist. Something about it was like a really kind and considerate leader, not a boss who was trying to speak as little as possible. Took the time to file my filling down more trying to get it perfect.

Nicest dental staff & doctor I’ve ever been to ! Visiting the dentist has never been my favorite thing to do but they for sure make it easier ! Thank you all so much for your kindness & compassion. Also they got my dental plan right on track and I’m feeling confident about it now. You all are the best , thank you Dr Martin & staff !

Dr. Martin is so kind and patient with his clients! He answers all of my questions and never rushes. He has been such a blessing to our family. I get highly anxious at the dentist and the hygienist are so patient and sweet.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Martin and his amazing staff! I usually get pretty anxious about going to the dentist, but they made me feel comfortable right away. Everyone was so friendly, gentle, and reassuring—it honestly felt like I was in really good hands the entire time. Dr. Martin took the time to explain everything and made sure I was okay throughout the visit. I’m so grateful for how kind they all were. I highly recommend this office, especially if you get nervous about dental appointments!

I went to see Dr. Martin for a root canal evaluation. He managed to squeeze me into his schedule the next day. The procedure was practically pain-free! He was very gentle with the initial shots, and then I was so comfortable, to the point I actually fell asleep during the root canal. I had this done yesterday, and I woke up this morning for the first time in 2 weeks without pain. Highly recommend!!!
