PAK Pediatrics (Clarks Summit Office)

I really like Dr. Kathleen Walsh. She has great Bedside manner, is very thorough and informative. However, it is VERY difficult to get through to this office for follow up. My daughter went in on Monday presenting with severe leg pain. Labs were ordered if she did not improve within 24 hours. Tuesday morning we took her for labs and results were ready that afternoon. Her results have not been reviewed and we have not received a call back almost 48 hours after and she’s still in the same pain. We’ve tried to avoid an ER trip, but with no answers and no communication from PAK, that is what we will have to do to get answers.

I have been taking my children to Dr. Sauter for 11 years, she has always been amazing and still is. My children are very comfortable with her, the staff at PAK Pediatrics are amazing! The experience is always pleasant, no matter if it’s a well or sick visit. The nurses are very nice and they communicate well with my children, so they feel at ease!!

I called multiple times to schedule an appointment but was unable to get through. Each time, I had to listen to the same automated messages repeatedly, and the call kept getting dropped. When I finally reached the front desk, I was transferred to another line and faced the same issue again. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to schedule an appointment—it felt like I was calling a government office. I eventually decided to go to a different location because I value my time. I wouldn’t recommend this office if you do too. Update#1 received the call back next day. Was able to get sick call. Place is outdated. Doctor was good, no complains.

PAK pediatrics has the best staff. Every person we've met here is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also kind and caring. These are the people you want on your side when your baby comes. In particular, Becky, the lactation consultant, is hands-down the coolest, sharpest, most fun person we've met on our journey with our first newborn. We've never met such a lovely person. 10/10. Would let her touch my wife's boobs again.

The front desk person is indifferent. Whenever l called, l couldn’t reach out to the nurse, always get me to voicemail. I waited 1 hour for kids’ well visit, and no one even apologized. The only reason I still visit here is it’s only 5 minutes away from where l live. Don’t recommend this place at all.
