I cannot recommend Dr. Anya at Pacific Pelvic Health enough. I have been seeing her throughout my first pregnancy for pelvic pain and to prepare for labor, and she truly has gone above and beyond in every way. From our initial appointment, she has made me feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I really wanted to give a good review and wanted results. Initially, I found it odd that Anya scheduled me for 10 sessions out into the future when I had told her I don’t have much money and would like to have results resolved sooner than later. I had five sessions and spent over $1000. It seemed like she wanted to stretch out the appointments because she mentioned I had some thing with my back that she would give me stretches for. Other stretches were given to me and suggestion on buying a tool for pelvic floor. When I asked for the back stretches, she said we will cover that next session. The back stretches were never given to me. I found this disappointing. I blindly trusted that she cared about me as a person until she charged me $95 on my credit card with no mention of it to me, that

I absolutely loved my experience with Anya! I saw her both during pregnancy and postpartum, and I truly credit her for helping me have such a smooth, comfortable birth and an easy recovery. She made me feel so supported every step of the way, and even helped with long-term recovery tips and a list of things to practice to help get my strength back. I really appreciated how she phased me out when I was ready, but let me know she was there if I ever needed her again. I couldn’t recommend her more!

I saw Anya over a period of several months after the recurrence of an inguinal hernia which I previously had surgery for. Since hernias don’t heal themselves my goal was to manage this condition without additional surgery and return to the gym without causing further harm. The key to this was pelvic floor strengthening. Anya was positive about what I hoped to accomplish while being mindful of my symptoms. She had an action plan for every session and worked with me on each exercise in a manner that I could duplicate outside of her office. The treatment occasionally rang a few bells but her professionalism and care made it all doable.
