Overlook Imaging, Union

Followed Google maps and got there okay. I did turn off Galloping too quickly and ended up in the YMCA but there is a little cut out to get you into Overlook lot. Once there, pay attention to the awning colors outside or if you have Google Maps, pin where you parked. Pro: * Easy to find. * Plenty of free parking. * Helpful staff. * Short wait, easy check-in. * Device charging station * Open Wi-Fi signal Con: * More outdoor signage. * Cellphone signal was poor/blocked.

I've been here a few times. This time it took over an hour to get checked in and then I still had wait to be called by a tech. X-Rays are now walk-ins and the wait time is horrible! Also, the staff at the window should receive formal training on dealing with patients. Rude and condescending. I'll leave it at that. I won't ever return.

I arrived 7 min late for my appointment due to how difficult it was to locate building. I was told I had to reschedule. The tech didn’t have anyone in imaging room and was being incredibly difficult. 7 min late!?

In the Overlook Union imaging department, for cat scans, there is a seasoned professional named John. He astutely proceeds with an easy confidence yet is affable and reassuring to those vulnerable sacred souls whose bodies he is entrusted to perform the cat scan upon.Btw: he exudes JohnMellancamp vibs..the rugged visage belying a tender demeanor, the quips,the colloquialisms, the coached nuggets of simple wisdom, the musical references,etc. Thanks for remembering to be kind to others' and their loved ones while you practice your vocation.

I am not satisfied with this location as I was supposed to get an MRI done today and I get called an hour before my appointment to say it hasn’t been authorized by my insurance! Why wasn’t I called yesterday or during the week? I was literally about to leave my house and thank goodness I didn’t because I would’ve been extremely annoyed that I had to drive all the way over there just to be told they cannot see me. Someone’s not doing their job! There was a gentle man who called to let me know. Thankfully he reached out before I headed over there . He was polite and understanding. Thank you for reaching out to me!
