Overland Park Regional Medical Center: Trauma Department

My mother had a fall and was admitted on a Sunday evening. Immediately she was tested for Covid and they said she was positive and was admitted to ICU. Due to the fall they ran several tests/scans. She has A-fib so her heart rate was crazy for a couple of days. Fast forward to Wednesday. I spoke to her nurse in the morning, and they were running some more test. I get a call from the social worker at the hospital around noon saying they are going to discharge her. WHAT? What about the test that you were running?You’re going to send my 85 year old mother that lives alone back home? With Covid and a fall two days prior, and three days after admission into ICU?
