I had a great experience at Outback Physical Therapy, specifically with Dr. Ithamar Jotkowitz, who treated me for TMJ. From the very first session, he was incredibly attentive and considerate—taking the time to explain what was going on, what to expect, and how each part of the treatment would help. He consistently went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable during each visit, and always checked in on how I was doing to ensure I was making progress. Although I stopped going about four months ago due to relocating across the country, the progress I made has had a lasting impact. What used to be a daily struggle is no longer something I deal with regularly, and I have Dr. Jotkowitz to thank for that. What can I say about Outback Physical Therapy (OPT)? Great people, great work, ever-optomistic without over-selling the final possible result. Dr. Jotkowitz is a true expert, but also a gentleman. I walked out of every visit feeling better than when I first walked in. And in the end - voila - my pinched nerve was gone. OPT got me back to normal. I am grateful for their help.

I spent time and money getting to this office based on their confirmation, only to be turned away. This reflects a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, order, and internal communication. It is unacceptable to tell a patient to come in and then refuse to see them. The fact that this decision was relayed through the front desk—rather than addressed directly—only underscores how poorly this office is run. The front desk staff were the only professional part of this experience and even acknowledged that this situation was handled poorly by the office. When the front desk reached out to the Natalia they were ignored. I will not be returning and do not recommend this office to anyone looking for competent, reliable care. I was able to go from painful, sleepless nights to complete recovery from lower back pain in 3 weeks. The sessions with Ithmar and the follow up Exercises were spot on. Highly recommended if you need PT.

I had steadily increasing back pain that was becoming an impediment to my work (I'm a writer, so I spend a lot of time at a desk). Dr Jotkowitz got me in incredibly quickly and got me started with both exercises to do at home and hands-on therapy done by him in the clinic. He's fantastic in every way, and the therapy was really effective for me. Can't recommend him enough to anyone struggling with pain or injury.
