Worst E.R ever and the whole world will know just how they treat their patients. I have everything and will show everything but due to the restraints of google review I’ll have to spell it out. I’ve been too so many different E.Rs, have told the symptoms and my rapid weight loss. The doctor looked ar me and said “What was your goal of coming today, what do you want me to do. There’s nothing I can do for you” YOU’RE THE DOCTOR. I seen one review where the talked about how racist they can be and they sure are. I never felt more disgusted by medial professionals. When a hospital tells me there’s nothing they can do for me I lot faith in this system. He was a bald doctor, African American nurse and a skinny paler nurse with piercings potentially? OU Hospital in Edmond is the absolute greatest Hospital I have ever been in. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The care The nurses and Dr Smith gave me was phenomenal. A special thank you to Olivia in the ER, Lora my day nurse who showed such compassion and genuine care. Jada, nursing student was incredible and will be an amazing nurse. My night nurse whom I can't remember her name, was as great as I could ask for. I was treated without judgement. They each shared a bit of their life that related to my illness and made me feel so much less alone. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else.Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. I truly love you all.

I went to visit my cousin today at OU Medical Center in Edmond because she has been running a high fever since this morning. When I arrived in the evening, she was still having persistent high temperatures. I asked the nurse what was being done to address the fever, because her symptoms looked familiar to me—her sister previously had similar symptoms and later received a lupus diagnosis and treatment. I also asked if the nurse could reach out to the doctor so our family could better understand what the diagnosis is and what treatment plan is currently being provided. While I was there, the staff was attempting to start an IV. My cousin’s sister asked what my cousin’s blood pressure was. At first, I thought it was around 154/80, but my cousin corrected it and stated it was actually 185 ove

All the staff was very polite and friendly although there was a schedule mixup ,that fell on my doctors end not on theirs. They handled it with professionalism. My anesthesiologist worked miracles. Nobody has ever made it to where I didn’t vomit profusely afterwards I would go back in a heartbeat.

You all deleted my comment I don't think so. I had a several abdominal pain and went in to OU. I was greeted with a bunch of questions, while I was in excruciating pain when I wasn't answering the doctor got really rude and told me to be a woman. I bad mouth them back and they called the police on me. I think its extremely sad that's a hospital would weaponize calling the cops on a African American woman its truly sad that they wanted them to Unalive me! I was no threat at all, just a woman with a kidney stone. Its very sad that you would waste the time of officers for a unarmed patient! Because it makes no since that you all have two security guards yet however that's not enough you want black patients to unalived! DO NOT come to this hospital they are 100% racist!
