You can count on Dr. Howell at Direct Wound Care to take good care of you, no matter the circumstances. After spending some time with her today (thanks to a burn wound I encountered in the kitchen) I learned that she has years and years of valuable experience under her belt and she just truly loves helping people! I’m so thankful for Dr. Howell, her passion for wound care & convenient locally owned practice. Without her, I probably would have just brushed this burn off and dealt with the consequences later…. Now, I’m equipped with fresh dressing and new knowledge that will help me heal probably faster & better!

For 2 years my husband has suffered from a Venous Stasis ulcer as well as swelling, redness, with several areas of seepage in his lower left leg. After seeing two different wound doctors with little improvement, his cardiovascular surgeon referred him to Dr TaySha Howell at Direct Wound Care. After five treatments with Dr Howell in a 2-month period with cleaning and bandaging at home as directed by Dr Howell, all wounds have closed and the redness and swelling have dissipated. We are grateful for her care and expertise with this ongoing problem. We are amazed how Dr Howell's unique protocol was so effective in bringing healing in such a short period of time. We highly recommend Dr. Howell.

Dr. Howell is amazing! We are so grateful for her seeing our little man for his facial wound. She was so thorough and able to explain step by step for us to continue to see healing and improvement after stitches removal. Dr. Howell has a long resume of doing wound care and is exceptionally good at it. She was referred to me by my primary doctor. It was an excellent decision, she helped my deep leg wound heal faster and smoother then I ever thought possible. She takes the time and explains every procedure to you and why it’s needed. She tells you what needs to be done at home and gives you a print out to help you remember. You can message her any time needed. She doesn’t take insurance so she can treat you the way your wound needs to be treated for as long as it needs to be treated. She did tissue grafts on me that would not have been approved with Medicare but they were a game changer for my wound! All of these remarks say she is amazing and I can’t think of a better word for her either! Amazing person

I was referred to Dr. Howell at a very stressful and scary time and what a blessing and relief! Not only is she experienced and knowledgable, she is confident and encouraging. She explains the treatment and procedures fully and will answer any questions in an easily understandable way, and takes time with her patient to not only treat the wound directly but will recommend changes that will promote healing if needed.
