OrthoNebraska is THE VERY BEST healthcare system!!! I had spinal fusion surgery recently and cannot thank Dr. Porter & his surgical team, the nurses, PT’s, and OT’s for their incredible care, compassion, and expertise!! Our daughter’s school counselor recommended an ER visit due to past suicidal thoughts, and because we’re new to the area, we accidentally took her to Ortho’s ER, not realizing it was an orthopedic hospital. From the beginning, the experience was alarming. Staff gave conflicting information, separated our family, and pushed for an admission to Boys Town even though our daughter was calm, stable, and saying she wanted to go home. They also claimed she had an IV and was undergoing testing—even though she wasn’t. When we explained (with legal counsel present) that we were taking her home with a safety plan and arranging therapy, staff responded by calling police and CPS. We later learned they told authorities that she was suicidal that night and that her father was abusive—claims our daughter

OrthoNebraska is awesome. We have been a patient here for over 6 months and have I’d 2 surgeries. The Doctors and Nurses are wonderful. We recommend OrthoNebraska 100%.

Worst CEO and management possible. Avoid this overgrown hospital. It only expands out of state and cannot handle what it already owns!!! I know Doctors who have resigned applications to be a part of this horrible establishment. The care falters because of this. If you find yourself there, please run away.

I have had surgery at different hospitals across Omaha and this hospital was by far the BEST in care. The whole staff that attended to me was very attentive, kind, some even humorous, and always explained what they were getting ready to perform for me. I felt very cared about, respected and informed about everything that was going on. I even received a card in the mail signed by the whole staff who attended to me wishing me a successful and speedy recovery. This is the first time for me. I truly appreciate the care and concern I was given.
