Dr. Wheelis is absolutely amazing and one of the most caring doctors that I know. He’s an old-school doctor and he actually takes time to listen to the you. He listens to the patient and takes time to see exactly what’s going on with the patient because he cares. He has such empathy and it shows in his profession. I have been going to Dr. Wheelis for many years and will continue going as long as he is practicing. He is a one of a kind and I’m most appreciative of his assistants, Lanelle to Layla, I am always treated like a friend/patient and never like number. Best ever !

Dr. LaTulip has been great. Very knowledgeable and listens to concerns. Discusses a variety of treatment options. His assistant is wonderful. Staff are polite and efficient. I have rarely had to wait in the waiting room or in the examination room for an appointment. Highly recommend!

Dr. Galland and the rest of the team at OrthoNC have been the best medical professionals I've ever gone to. Everyone on the team (at multiple locations) is kind, patient, and empathetic. Dr. Galland is conservative and honest in his approach, and that was especially welcome with my should dislocation (my second). He was actively talking me out of surgery and helped with a plan to get me back to doing what I love most. Some doctors rush you out the door with a "walk it off" mentality, but Dr. Galland made me feel like he was truly seeking the best for me and my recovery. HIGHLY recommend OrthoNC

Be very careful about lab work ordered by these folks. Dr Wheeless ordered a full blood panel after asking me if I had my testosterone checked lately. The Quest bill i received was over $5600!! Then his rude nurse, Layla Dement, refuses to cancel it the very next day. I have filed a complaint with the overseeing medical board over this after receiving a bill from a collections agency. OrthoNC says its between me and the lab, over tests that They ordered! Negligence!!
