AJ was great! I have quite a few medical conditions and physical issues that make working out difficult and staying motivated a real challenge. AJ was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and understanding, while still able to effectively push me to do more than I thought I was capable of. He really knows how to effectively target problem areas and construct workouts that are challenging in the best ways, really helping progress while still easy to remember. I really recommend him for anyone, but especially those who might be feeling overwhelmed or frustrated with their body’s limitations and want to feel more capable.

AJ is hands down the best. I am a physical therapist myself and I needed someone I could trust to help me get to the bottom of my pain. He was knowledgeable and practical and helped me create a plan that I felt confident with and could realistically do in my busy life. My pain improved almost right away, using practical everyday changes. I finally feel like I have an understanding of what is going on and I am making progress towards healing. If you have pain, you need AJ!

I came to AJ seeking advice about stretching to relieve profound muscle tightness in my legs. First, he listened and asked questions, then clearly explained away my misconceptions (and soothed my self-imposed guilt over avoiding the foam roller a friend had urged me to buy). AJ helped me understand the relationship between muscles and the brain, and offered suggestions about (1) adjusting my body position to alleviate the pain short term, and (2) easing into strengthening exercises to address the pain long term. He explains things thoroughly but in a way that is easy to understand. He helped me set realistic expectations for progress. AJ is an extremely skilled & experienced physical therapist. I have never seen anyone who can listen to a clients concern, & know exactly what is needed-what muscles need strengthening, how different posture can help with alleviating body pain... his approach is so personalized & specific to what is going on with the body. I am impressed every time I see him, of the level of knowledge & recommendations he makes to heal the issues.
