From my husband Scott: Dr . R and his staff were amazing. Not only was he professional, and kind but he is an amazing surgeon. I suffered with carpal tunnel for a long time to the point where I couldn’t sleep at night the first night at home after surgery I had no pain only where the suture was, but that was mild. The carpal tunnel pain was completely gone. I have two weeks postop and I feel amazing. I am back to work and I have a physical job. Very minimal discomfort. It was very easy to schedule my appointments and to schedule my surgery. He has an amazing staff, and he should be proud of them. They are very kind and courteous. Thank you again Dr R you have no idea how you’ve changed my life. I can sleep at night now and I’m not in constant pain anymore. Thank you.

I was very pleased with my experience and also with the level of thoroughness from the X-ray techs to the PA Ryan to Dr. Alpert. This was a second opinion visit so I was a little apprehensive, but everyone asked great questions and gave me feedback in a very understandable fashion, and I felt very comfortable in asking questions and not feeling intimidated.

I see Dr. Boylan and my son sees Dr. Reisner. We both have always had very pleasant experiences at all three offices that we've gone to, Port Jefferson, Smithtown and Huntington. My daughter has seen both Dr. Yu and Dr. Fracchia in Port Jefferson in the past and again we had a pleasant experience. I can't say enough positive things about this group of doctors and their staff.

I had a next-day appointment booked from CityMD with these guys. They had early availability, but I had booked an appointment later in the day because I thought that with the meds I got that I could get through the work day and go to them later. Woke up in bad shape and tried calling them to get an earlier spot, but nobody answers the phone. The first couple of calls rang out and went to voicemail. The last couple of calls only rang once or twice and went straight to voicemail like the call was declined. That made me more uncomfortable about sticking with them overall vs just sticking with what was booked, so I went ahead and left a vm to cancel and booked with another provider earlier in the day.

Dr. Scott Alpert is a highly competent and caring physician. He is both thorough and thoughtful and communicates in an easily understood manner. I feel very confident in his ability to address my issues and provide me with the best treatment options.
