Orchard View Care Home

My Dad was Orchars view care home for 9 months. Most of which was during Covid. During this time Emily arranged zoom visits for us. During the warm Months we had porch visits. Emily was very sensitive to our religious beliefs. She streamed services for my Dad to watch for Shabbat. His room was decorated for Passover and Chanukah. The resisidents spent their time participating in meaningful activities. Including crafts , exercise & music therapy. My Dad enjoyed spending time with Jason and Tom. He didn’t realize they were his caregivers. It was nice for him that there were men around. On my Dads birthday his walker was decorated. This meant so much to us. Knowing how they cared for him. I have been the elderly care organizer for many of my family members over the last six years. I’ve visited and interviewed many kinds of facilities and homes and organized different kinds of care. Nobody can compare to Orchard View Care Home owned and operated by Tom and Maria Pop. My cousin is currently living with the Pops after having to leave her home because of physical disabilities. The level of care at Orchard View is the best I’ve ever seen. It is a very quiet, calm and loving home that is kept immaculately clean. Owners Tom and Maria live in the house. Residents at Orchard View are cared for like family including being checked on every few hours at night and being served delicious home cooked meals with garden fresh foods including home made jams, pickles and more. Having a background as a medical social worker doing placement care for seniors, when it came time to find alternative living for my mom with dementia, I was extremely picky. When I visited Orchard View Care Home, I knew I was in the right place. Family owned and operated, they do homecooking for their residents and treat them as part of their family. The home is always immaculate; the staff are caring and friendly, and they are very conscious of the various health and treatment needs of each individual. They promote a feeling of togetherness for the residents and make sure that no one is left out or feels alone. As needed, physicians, therapists and other medical professionals are scheduled. Medications are closely monitored and administered. I cannot say enough for this facility.

Orchard View Care home took great care of our mom. Mom had a very nice room and the house is always clean and bright. The food is home made and presented very nicely with lots of fruit and vegetables and always a little sweet for the end of the meal. I highly recommend this home. It is small so each resident gets lots of personal attention and good care.

After searching and vetting many AFC homes, we were blessed to find Orchard View Care Home. They were kind and loving to my precious Uncle while he made his transition. He told the staff he was happy there. I am forever grateful he passed feeling loved, important, and peaceful. Thank you to Emily for your business savvy, and to Monica, who is loving and kind, accommodating, and a good listener.
