Dr. Gotesman is great. He is intelligent and compassionate Nd a great surgeon. If anyone needs an orthopedic don’t hesitate to see him. My problem is with the office. I had an accident under no fault. I owe $200 under no fault because when they submitted a bill no fault was at its max. I told them months ago that it in a lawsuit. One of their doctors recommended the attorney for the lawsuit. My visits under my insurance are paid up. So I get injured and they refuse to let me see my doctor because of this no fault payment. When did treatment for injuries or illnesses be determined by a small amount owed. Especially from a case they know about. I would have loved to have seen Dr. Semble but the office manager and other receptionists are incompetent and misinformed. I was referred to this Dr. by my physical therapists office on my no fault insurance claim. I was involved in a rear end accident 6 days before Christmas. As a result of the accident I have a torn rotator cuff that may need surgery. The office staff tried telling me because the accident was in NJ I have to see a NJ doctor which is a false statement. I am allowed to be treated wherever i would like to be. Then i had my claims representative call and try to talk to the office staff and all he got was an office manager screaming in the back "WE ARE NOT TAKING NJ NO FAULT INSURANCE". My doctor seemed competent enough (Dr Gotesman) but the office staff who are responsible for MRI insurance approvals are incompetent. I was given a MRI order from the doc on 5/27/14 and the submittal to insurance from Orangeburg Orthopedic didn't get done until 6/5/14. I continue to wait for approval and I continue to be in pain. They need a new office manager urgently...

I love this place - Dr Simon and Paul Brief are masters of the Orthopedic arena; the staff is great, very busy, but they are fully with you, and thorough about everything (smiling at them helps, they are all, even the folks in the deep back office, really awesome to interact with); they are especially patient in the beginning, when I was in a lot of pain, and expressing concern, worry, etc; after my surgery, I even popped in just to say hello; necessary family now, haha! Hope this helps anyone considering services, two, bug thumbs up!

Didn't want to give even one star but had no choice of zero! If office manager is still someone named Sue, it's no wonder that office is run the way it is.
