Oral & Implant Surgery

A really horendous bed side manner from one. And the other had me pay $250 for an hour, when the last five minutes would have been enough. The first one, in a consult said: "My kids hate me because I am always right." Then later after extracting a widom tooth that needed removing he showed it to me with blood and a clear gelatinous goo on it and said: "This was about to explode in your mouth." The other said: "We do this prosecure because we have to live in a 90 to 95 to 100% success rate." However it took an hour of my time at their rates to tell me that. Not much empathy from either... 'strongly suggest you go elsewhere.

I've had all my wisdom teeth removed and a couple of molars. This was done by a total of four oral surgeons. Different ones. So I have a way to compare. If you have to get oral surgery you can find no better place than this. The surgeon was outstanding, and the staff beyond reproach. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. And all things considered, it was painless. So I would strongly suggest you go here for your dental surgeries.

This review is not for the dental service but for the administration. I had a checkup in November 2024 and was informed that I'll get a bill after my insurance is applied. I instead got a bill in February without insurance and when I visited their office, they mentioned they had my SSN wrong. I felt it was an honest mistake, corrected the SSN, and provided my insurance document again. I received a bill in March without insurance. When I visited their office again, I noticed they entered the wrong SSN in their system! They made the same mistake again!! I corrected them and double-, triple-checked if they entered my information correctly. To my surprise, I received a bill in April without the insurance! Friday, 5/10, I had 5 teeth removed by Dr. Bowman for my upper and lower partial plates. He numbed my mouth very well but during the extractions he was drilling and apparently went too deep. I felt horrible pain and yelled out. He said “oops”. When he was finished I was given nothing, no scripts at all. My face, where his “oops” was, has a huge black bruise about the size of a half dollar. Sunday, 5-12, I called my dentist because the pain was so bad - even with taking ibuprofen and Tylenol, plus heat and salt water rinses. She said I needed to call the oral surgeon because he did the work. I called him and he said I needed to call my dentist. I explained that I already had and she said to call him. He said there was nothing he could do and just keep putting the warmth on my face. Today, 5

Dr. Farr and Amy (nurse) took great care of me and the whole experience was professional, courteous and well executed. Amy was especially attentive and made sure to follow up with me later in the day to check all was well, and it was. No post surgery pain or swelling. Insurance (United health) was accepted and handled very a very timely manner. Would certainly recommend these guys. UPDATE. I've taken two stars off my original score as they have been anything but professional on applying my insurance coverage correctly. It's taken two months so far and I still do not have it sorted out. Buyer beware they are not good in handling the paperwork side of things at all!
