I was treated so well before my oral surgery by receptionist, nurses, & Dr Mark Mcllwain DMD MD.All were professional,efficient,caring,,calm,attentive,& experts at their work. My surgery went great,5 extractions, 5 bone grafts, minimal swelling, pain easily controlled & resolved more by next day. Was awake till bedtime,slept all night after surgery.Dr Mcllwain is the best on oral surgery.I’ve had surgery twice by him over the years & he is trained & determined to do the work to perfection treating you like he would like to be treated.I’ve never heard anything but good outcomes about Dr Mcllwain in my years as an RN working for Helen Keller Hospital 23 years.Thank you Dr Mcllwain & staff.Phyllis Grissom

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My surgeon actually teaches this stuff too. My only reason for a star reduction is that they don't work with Medicare or medicare advantage plans, so i have to borrow money to do this. And it's not cheap. I had a large portion of it already, but i still needed around $800 more.

I’m currently just over 24 hours following a tooth extraction and implant. No pain, no swelling and I was able to get off my pain pills today as well! Procedure took about 30 minutes- spoke with the kind Nurse, for a few minutes, spoke with Dr. Frederick he said this will make you sleepy as he put the magic potion in my veins. I fell asleep, took a nap and the procedure was over. Thank you Dr. Frederick, the Nurse, Secretary, and Technician for their time and talents yesterday! Have no fear folks, they’ll have you on your way to grill of the year in no time! A true blessing to the Shoals! Thank y’all again! Brandon

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!!! 300% INCREASE IN COST FOR PROCEDURES IN 2 YEARS... We have used this office several times, both Dr. McIlwain and Dr. Nestor. In the past, I would say we had good experiences, although I definitely prefer Dr. Nestor's "bedside" manor. Both my daughters had wisdom teeth removed here, and were treated well and efficiently, with no problems. I had an implant two years ago and was pleased with the service and process, although it was a little pricey. Because of our past experiences, I recently returned when I had a cracked tooth and needed an extraction. Only when I returned after several months of allowing the bone graft to heal, was the cost for the implant presented and was 3 TIMES the cost of two years ago. I know there's been some inflation, but there's no call

Been using this business at the Florence and Sheffield offices and have been impressed with their attention to detail and promptness in responding to anything I have questions or a problem. I recommend this business to anyone needing dental help! It was EASY giving them 5 stars and feeling great about it!
