Optum Radiology - Bethpage

I brought my sister to this facility to get a scan. She has down syndrome and becomes very nervous before any kind of doctors appointment. From the minute, we walked into this office everyone was so nice. . Mike, the technician, treated her with such kindness and understanding. He made the procedure such a positive experience for her. Thank you to everyone at this office.

Highly recommend. Easy appointment scheduling, super efficient and professional, kind staff. Waiting time almost nonexistent. My tech Kathy was professional, informative and walked me through each step . Front desk was friendly and efficient. Experience 10 stars.

Optum Radiology in Bethpage is one of my go-to medical facilities, and one of the big reasons is its location — it’s very close to my house, which makes it incredibly convenient. Over the years, I’ve been here for MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging needs as ordered by various doctors. Every time I’ve come in, the staff have been consistently professional, friendly, and efficient. Whether it’s scheduling an appointment, providing me with a CD of my scans, or handling the paperwork, they always get things done quickly and without hassle. It’s rare to find a medical office that runs this smoothly. The front desk team in particular deserves a special mention, specially Christine. She is always very kind to me. The ladies there are welcoming, organized, and make the check-in process a breeze.

Had to get a test done and specialized insurance asked the office to call them for prior authorization for the test. When asked the office, they said they called but it wasn’t covered so they had to go through my primary. While I was in my appointment, my husband heard the woman who told me she had called the insurance company, yelling in the office in front of him and other patients, “Go ahead fire me, I’m looking for another job anyway”. The whole attitude and demeanor when you walk in was unwelcoming, not very helpful and would make anyone anxious or stressed before a test. When I followed up with the insurance company after the procedure, they claimed that the office never reached out so they ended up having to call them to sort things out.
