Don't fall for your insurance provider to use this company. They promise savings... but at the expense of your health. FedEx lost your shipment? You will need to wait weeks to have it reshipped... or call so they can put you on hold to trying and figure out IF they can help... don't do it...

Absolutely the worst prescription mail order service I have ever worked with. They charged me $599 as my copay for a Tier 5 medicine on Jan 20 and it was shipping from their Charlotte, NC facility. We live in Hilton Head, SC about 4 hours away. It is Jan 26 with the item still sitting in their Memphis, TX facility. Was sent Priority; however, no one can tell me where it is or when it will arrive. Very critical medicine that we are waiting for. No excuse for such terrible service. Not the first complaint with their delivery service.

Optum is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Somehow meds for a person in Pennsylvania they are always trying to ship to me. Called Optum and they said they took care of it, but this morning I get a text indicating they are doing it again so obviously they didn't fix it. Optum said you have to call the prescribing doctor, WHAT!!?? to get the scripts cancelled, they finally said you have to call UHCare to get this resolved. Once resolved I am cancelling my scrips through Optum. DO NOT USE OPTUM

Oprum Pharmacy continues to prove it's incompetence. They send letters begging for UHC customers to use the home pharmacy. I complied to quit being besieged with unwanted letters. They do not send what you are prescribed when you need it. They lie about having sent it or mail it to an address you have never had. Their staff tells you they have Englisg names but English is obviously their second language. They ignore your concerns. They pretend not to comprehend simple questions. They FINALLY offer "resolutions" then fail to follow through. I'm on my eighth call in a week to try to get my medication. I requested that they send my prescriptions to my local pharmacy and they have yet to release the medication I have been out of for going on a month. It is utterly ridiculous. They are now blam

I have been waiting for a prescription for 13 weeks. I call OptumRx every couple of days and get the same response, “we are waiting for prior authorization from your provider.” When I contact my provider, they explain that they have already sent the prior authorization. And so it goes. 13 weeks of enduring an active ulcerative colitis attack while Optum jerks me around. I’m beyond frustrated. I shouldn’t have to go through this much grief just to get my prescription.
