Optum Internal Medicine - North Bergen

The doctor is great, his front desk/support staff not so much. They did not follow up with results also doc prescribed meds, put in referral without notifying me (after appt) They are very unapologetic, verbally combative regarding their lack of professionalism and communication. It’s obvious by looking over multiple one star reviews that this has been an ongoing issue that has never been resolved.

Dr. Abdeljaber office staff is very professional and helpful. The doctor is efficient, caring, and reliable. Love coming here! Thank you to Amy and Shally for being super sweet and helpful with all my needs last minute. Great place to visit!

Love Dr. Basil !!! But I hate the front desk receptionists that work here. They are sooooo unhelpful and NEVER follow up with anything. You’ll be lucky to get any type of effort as far as help here at the front desk. No type of customer service whatsoever …

I really like my Doctor - Dr. Basil Abdeljaber He is very on top of my Health and thorough Everyone is attentive. Call backs sometimes take a bit- but overall service is very Good!

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. I have nothing but good experiences every time I have an appointment. My average wait time is about 15 minutes and the doctor listens to all concerns. I've been coming here for a few years now and I love it. So much so that I didn't change Dr. Basil when I moved out of NJ, I still go to him when I'm in Jersey visiting from NC. Thank God my insurance is in network.
