Complete Care at Harborage

Diana Pedro's the Nurse on the 5th floor is an exceptional hired for this hospital. Very caring, sweet & professional in her attitude She seems to go the extra mile that this patient is being taken care when she works the 7am-3pm shift. She's a very impressive Nurse. Yeira Matos from Patient Relations has always come to my room on a consistent basis to check on my health, asking if there's anything I need as a patient. Always with a positive attitude her caring attitude shows in her smile & actions. Extremely professional in her work habits.

Recovering from a stroke is an emotional and physically challenging journey, not only for the patient but for the entire family. Yeira Melendez(CNA) has consistently treated my mother with dignity, patience, and kindness. She has been attentive to her needs, gentle in her care, and always makes sure my mother feels comfortable. Her calm presence and reassuring manner has made a difficult time much easier for us. What stands out most about Yeira is her genuine compassion. She goes beyond — she truly cares. She communicates clearly, shows empathy, and handles her responsibilities with professionalism and reliability. Knowing my mother was in Yeira’s care gives our family peace of mind. Any facility or patient would be fortunate to have Yeira as part of their team. I strongly recommend her

I was a patient here and it was the best decision I made for my rehabilitation. The entire staff specially the physical therapy team were incredible. I want to give a special recognition to the Francia unit manager for doing an amazing job running the her unit and to unit clerk Jasmin (thank you for everything, I couldn’t have done it without you!)

My mom has been at The Harborage for 13 months on the 4th floor. The staff on the 4th floor are all professional and very caring. From day one she had Paula in the mornings and Marie at night, which are incredible CNA’s and very experienced as well as devoted to their profession. Mom feels very comfortable with both of them. She was also taken care of by Lucy and Juan, two very caring CNAs. The nurses Vilma and Carmen are also on top of all their patients and their individual needs. When it comes to activities and recreation Lisette is the best. In addition Francia the supervisor is always available to answer questions and resolve any issues that may arise. These are just a few members of the 4th floor staff that stand out for me and mom but it’s an absolutely amazing staff on the 4th flo

My Aunt was blessed to spend the last two months of her life at Complete Care at Harborage in North Bergen. We were gifted with two new family members, Francia the head nurse and Vilma, my Aunt's designated nurse. They both showed unbelievable amount of compassion and love. They were kind and professional and they made my Aunt so comfortable and well taken care of, all the way to her last breath. We couldn't have asked for better persons than Francia and Vilma.
