Optum Infusion Pharmacy and Infusion Suite

Optum Infusion Pharmacy provided port care (supplies and nursing care) for years. While their billing was frequently problematic, they were generally reliable. Unfortunately, they notified me that "effective immediately" they can no longer provide services as they only provide chronic care, and apparently they believe routine, monthly port flushing constitutes acute care. This doesn't make any sense and they left me high and dry. Because I don't drive, I have no reasonable alternatives. Optum clearly doesn't care about their patients.

Poor communication, poor customer service, poor common sense. Zero regard for patient needs, zero sense of urgency in addressing time sensitive patient needs. Really need to do better at hiring at least a few people that actually care. Currently it's at zero as well. I'm highly concerned with leaving my IV medicine needs in Optum's hands. I hope things turn around. It doesn't need to be this way.

Not sure how to make sure that I get Monisha With the the online ordering hurt credit..Very helpful, she took good care of me and made sure that the injection shot that I need for my left knee showed app on time and at my house and she did a great job. So whoever who's her boss, if she sees this, or whoever sees this, this is probably out of the main headquarters and I don't know where that is, but for miss monisha, thank you so much..

This is the worst medical company with which I’ve ever dealt. Their billing regularly tries to submit to be paid a second time from the drug companies, resulting in hours wasted on the phone trying to sort out Optum’s inability to track that they received payment. Their pharmacy frequently sends boxes of supplies with critically important items missing. They’ve sent separate boxes in the past for no apparent reason (as in one box with only saline bags and no paperwork in one tiny box that arrived first, making the me believe the medication was missing.) This week, my medication and supplies just didn’t arrive at all. I scheduled the delivery two weeks ago and it should have arrived on Tuesday. My husband used infusion services. Both antibiotics were so poorly formulated that his picc line became infected and had to be removed. The 2nd antibiotic arrived leaking. Now we are trying to pay the bill except the incompetence continues. I clearly explained send a paper bill to my home address and I will pay it and I clearly said DO NOT send it to my email. Idiots send it to my email. The email address has a virus and I am not using it to pay bills
