Optum Infusion Pharmacy and Infusion Suite

Not impressed with the mail out pharmacy at all. Kept sending me an email on my order and then one to cancel it. Had to go back to a regular pharmacy. The supplies they send for my Mama’s feeding tube are high quality and exactly what she needs.

The Jacksonville, FL office is awesome. Obviously anyone leaving a bad review had never used another service! They are simplyt he best! When my home healthcare company went out of business they took me on even though they weren’t accepting new patients. They call automatically for a quick update on my next monthly shipment incomparison to other companies that requirea 30 minutes call weekly. This is the third business I have had to use as the others have gone out of business. There is absolutely NO comparison to the customer service they provide. Would recommend them a million times over.

Stay away from this company. I was assigned to them when I left the hospital with a serious infection and needed to do my own home infusions. Deliveries were sporadic and the provided equipment came without instructions and were difficult to use. Visiting (training) nurses from another company demonstrated usage, but even they had difficulty using the equipment. The final insult was that I needed two more antibiotic packs to complete my prescription (apparently the company has trouble counting…). Instructions for infusions was to implement daily at the same time as they were effective for 24 hours. The packs should have been here by 10 am.however, at 2 pm I received a message saying it would be here by 4:45 pm. At 5 pm I called the office , only to find out that delivery would not arri

I’d like to talk a bit about the pharmacy, specifically. As many know, we are in an IV fluid shortage after Hurricane Helene. I happened to know about this because I work in a hospital; however, when the pharmacist called yesterday morning, he abruptly started off with how he couldn’t get my doctors office to speak with him about reducing my infusions by half. He provided no context for why this needed to happen until i told him I knew about the shortage. He didn’t want to call my doctors office back, so I reached out to the office. The office director of operations replied back to my email and said she asked the pharmacist to keep me on my current infusion schedule because I can’t stay upright and conscious without it. This infusion pharmacy does not provide a good faith estimate of costs. In addition to the infusion drug copay (which they did disclose), they charge a $35 per diem charge for each day you do an infusion. This amount of the per diem charge is not disclosed when you place your order. Buyer beware !!!!! In our case that ended up being a $1000 undisclosed cost! They refused to call back to discuss.
