I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with this eye specialist. From the moment I walked in to the office, felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely care for. The staff was warm, professional, and efficient, making the entire visit smoot and stress-feee. The Doctor took time to thoroughly explain my questions, and ensure I fully understood my treatment options. I truly appreciated the patient expertise, and attention to detail. I wanted to try Optimal Eye Care because of the reviews. I now understand the reviews are Not verified. My experience was horrible. I waited about 40 minutes with loud hip hop music. Entertaining for his young staff, but not for his waiting clients. I was examined by his tech. Dr. Rhea spent about 5 minutes with me suggesting a new prescription. His inventory was very limited, so I went elsewhere, knowing I would not be coming back. Unfortunately Dr.Rhea's new prescription made my vision worse. I returned to the office and was re examined by a technician and given a new prescription. I asked if Dr. Rhea was available. I was told he was in the office. And I was dismissed. I was excited to schedule an appointment after researching and reading the reviews but after one rude call I am not willing to schedule. I work in the medical field so I understand busy. But the receptionist who answered when I called to schedule she would not help. She just kept saying "No Saturday appointment" I said ever? her response was "No Saturday availability" I had to ask once more when the next one was, like how many months out. She then said "we are no longer taking Saturday appointments." Like why couldn't she say that? She made me think it was just this weekend. I would have been okay with a different date and asked my boss for a 1/2 day even though we are short handed right now. But instead she had to be rude, give me no information, answers, or other open appointment times.

I had an outstanding experience at Optimal Eye Care with Dr. Rhea. He and his staff truly exemplify what healthcare should be: caring, professional, and attentive. I appreciated that they took their time with me and my father and made us feel comfortable throughout our entire visit.

This is a longly overdue review! I have been coming to Optimal and seeing Dr Rhea for almost a decade now, and I can confidently say that Dr Rhea and the staff have always been very knowledgeable , passionate, and considerate about their work. Dr Rhea is very personable , friendly, and will not hesitate to take care of your needs and concerns. If you’re looking for an eye doctor and location you can rely on, this is the place!
