Omnicare

My experience with OmniCare of Maine comes as the nurse manager for a 24 bed inpatient medically monitored withdrawal program. We utilized twice daily medication deliveries as well as an Omnicell, aka automated dispensing unit. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about interactions, dosing, etc. The lead pharmacist and I would schedule face to face meetings to discuss how to streamline our process and cut costs. If our ADU had an issue, someone would come out within 24 hours to inspect. Professional, personable, and knowledgeable!

Omnicare sent my father a check which my father misplaced and forgot about only to find it after the 90 days he could cash it within. I scanned the check and emailed it to them on 6/19/16 explaining what had happened and asking for replacement check. The automated response said my message was received and would be passed along to the appropriate person within 2 business days. I replied to the reply 4 days later and asked what's up. No response. I emailed again on 6/28 & 7/2, forwarding the entire email string each time, and still got nothing. I asked my Dad, despite his hearing impairment, to try calling them - figured maybe they'd respond if they heard directly from the payee of the check. He called and left a message 2 weeks ago.
