Ohio Medical Career College

I recently graduated from OMCC in the LPN program. I had some wonderful teachers and some questionable ones (won’t mention names). You will be spending more than half your class online on Canvas and the rest of your time at school. My biggest gripe about this school was the fact that we only had 6 days of clinicals for the whole program. I’m not talking about working with mannequins, I’m talking about nursing school clinicals with real human patients in the nursing home setting. Even some of our teachers voiced their disappointment with the school that students are not getting enough clinical hours and that is unfortunate. I’m hoping that OMCC will add more clinical hours for students in the near future. Other than that, I believe this is a decent school with a fast-paced curriculum. The

I attended OMCC for my STNA and LPN programs. I was given the basic fundamentals to pass my boards and go on to be successful in my field. There were some wonderful instructors, also those who pushed us to claim success on our own terms. Every school has its pros and cons and can strive to become better. I hope to see even better things from OMCC when I possibly return for my RN!

My experience at the school has been truly rewarding. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive and genuinely care about their students' success. The clinical rotations provided hands-on experience in real healthcare settings, which helped me build confidence and strong critical-thinking skills. The program is challenging but well-structured, preparing you for the NCLEX and real-world nursing practice. I'm grateful for the foundation this school gave me for my nursing career, which helped me pass my NCLEX on my first try.

I was a student at ohio medical Career college in the LPN DIPLOMA PROGRAM Starting in July 2024, I graduate the program in May 2025 I faced a few very personal challenges yet the staff at Omcc were very supportive and accommodating allowing me to finish the program I started ms Ladonna in the office I’d very sweet Dr daisy the school owners was also very active in making sure I had a great experience bob the Financial aid director was always looking for ways to assist us. I’m very thankful for the facility that helped me engage in learning making it rewarding and worth everYhardship I faced

This school is a complete joke stop while you’re ahead. There is no organization whatsoever you can’t get in touch with anybody to see the directions to what to do then it’s due. You’re always pointed to the office and they are not teachers and don’t know half of what’s going on ever. The owner of the school is an instructor as well who needs a translator you can’t understand nothing she says and she doesn’t give a damn she just goes on. Then you can only meet with her on Friday’s by then your work may be due. She doesn’t email back until Friday, you sign up for day classes but you end up doing night and day because the school is not organized enough to have enough teachers bc they quit so fast. It’s literally a complete joke DON’T DO IT yes it’s fast but you need further education to save
