Oconto Health and Rehabilitation Center

My grandmother loved it here! With this being a smaller facility, it had a very homey feel. The staff treated my grandmother like she was there own down to her very last days. My grandmother enjoyed the many activities offered and we were even allowed to bring our pets to visit. We got to know some of the staff and residents and loved visiting them too! Ana was one of the best CNAs we could have asked for! And Evan ( I believe his name sorry if that’s incorrect ) the New director was alway present and in the floor helping with families and residents. You guys are amazing and I’m glad my grandmother got to know you all ❤️

My Brother is there since September I think for a small nursing home they do a great job Social worker Brook was very helpful. Staff is friendly .Erin the administrator does a great job He is out on the floor helping out with what ever has to be done He interacts with the patients on a personal basis, stopping in their rooms talking to them asking if they need anything. The holidays looks very homey. .Being in health care is a very hard and stressful job if you don't think so you should try it for 1 day. They go above and beyond for their patients. Its a job i know i couldn't do. Every situation is different and requires patience and understanding. You have to remember this is not like living in your own home but they do the best they can with what they have. Thanks for the care you all gi

First and above all, Evan, who I believe is the administrator goes above the call of duty! He personally came to me and welcomed me to the facility.He helps move patients to the dinning room and back. Passes out fresh water to patients. He is an out going person and runs a tight ship. All the employees are friendly and very out going! I must mention a few, Debbie-PT is a wonderful person and works kindly with her patients. Since I was there for Rehab she is awesome. Rachael-CNA was the most efficient and beautiful soul to be taken care of by. She deserves a metal for her hard dedicated work. I just love her!!! Over all this facilty was great. I hope I do not ever have to go back. However if I had to I would. I recommend this rehabilitation center to anyone who needs help. THANK YOU ALL F

I’ve been here 3 weeks and that made it possible for me to go home again. Nurses, CNAs , PTs, OTs and support staff were all professional and personable. Devon and Brooke went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The atomosphere was more family like than institutional.

If you are black stay away. The nurses will barely help and they only have about 5 permanent CNA staff total which caused me to be alone with over 35 people on nights shift. The Director of Nursing is extremely rude and will not approve you timesheet in a timely manner on purpose even though she sits in her office multiple times a day and the staff nurses will simply ignore you if you ask a question because that’s what happened to me. They need staff but don’t like black people stay away!
