Ochsner Urgent Care - West Bank

12/26/25 I had the WORST EXPERIENCE as soon as I got to the window I was not greeted nicely like others. The front desk lady kept pushing virtual and I told her multiple times I did not want to do virtual. I waited in my car for a while, called twice with no answer. I was trying to make sure they had the right number. So I checked mychart and I was already given an after visit summary, I wasn’t even seen yet. I went inside and they had another patient in front of me. She was kind to them(father&daughter) and did not push the same. When it was my turn her attitude changed quickly for the worst. I showed her the summary and asked why I was given this if I wasn’t even seen, she told me you know you weren’t seen, and waved her hand like to ignore it. Worst experience ever. We love the doctors at Oschner but the one at this urgent care is horrible and rude. We saw Alicia Ortiz at soon as she walked in the room she send me to the ER because any way you probably going to end up going there she said without even check my child. She repeated that twice. She tells my daughter if she can produce urine and my daughter said" I dont need to use the bathroom right now", she tells her Im not asking you if you need to Im telling you to produce urine. First experience with a rude doctor at Oschner. I called my husband to let him know and I didn't even finish telling him when he knew who she was. He has the same experience with her.

Go elsewhere if you can. Ultimately, we received the care we needed. But in my opinion, Ochsner needs to do better with their urgent care clinics. They seem understaffed on the care side and overstaffed on the admin side. I will try LCMC next time.

Very helpful staff cant remember their names I just remembered they had very beautiful hair the two nurses who assisted me in the back. Very pleasant

whoever is working this afternoon on 7/20/25 at the front is insanely unprofessional. appointment made through the oschner app. my wife gave birth to both our children at oschner. we can verifiy our identify literally a dozen different ways. they said they cant see us without physical ID. wouldnt accept a picture. wouldnt accept other forms of identification. said it was to prevent fraud. nothing during the appointment process ever said we would be denied service for not having IDs
