Ochsner LSU Health - Neurosurgery Center

At this point I am so frustrated with this office. I can never get in touch with the office to ask about medical concerns or appointments. I press the extension I was directed to, the phone rings for 2 minutes and then it just hangs up without even an option to leave a message. I shouldn't have to call the office 12 times just to get someone to answer the phone once. On top of that, I have consistently had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment time to be called back and be seen for only 10 minutes. This has happened multiple times. These are appointments where the time and date were scheduled for me and not me choosing them. I shouldn't have to take an entire day off of work for a 10 minute appointment just because I cant trust that I'll get in at my scheduled time. They tell

This is the only Ochsner clinic where I can't get in touch with anyone to make appointments or talk to someone regarding a medical concern. When you click an extension on their phone options, they simply hang up. They don't even give you the option.

I am not sure why all the bad reviews.. this place found my son’s problem… they are truly the best! We have only received great care!!! Dr. Notarianni you deserve 10 stars… Miss Emily miss Susan all of you are the best you deserve 10 stars to.. They really care about my son Zayden. Even once he was hospitalized we received great care from everyone….

Not sure why the reviews are bad. Ive only ever experienced great patient care here and from them. This neurology department is phenomenal and VERY knowledgeable. I went 6 years undiagnosed and saw tons of other neurologists and doctors. LSU Ochsner Neurologists were able to give me a diagnosis. My very first visit they already had an idea of what I could have so they sent me off for testing. Sure enough they were 100% correct. I have a rare genetic gene mutation causing everything I had went through and still continue to go through, because there’s no cure for it unfortunately. I am just very grateful that these wise neurologists were able to help me and diagnosed me. Also the head of neurology is amazing as well! He was so kind, patient, understanding and his knowledge base is unmatched.

Only 1 star because that's the only way I could leave a review! This staff is absolutely horrible! Yall think it's OK to just not go into a room when someone needs help getting up going to the bathroom? The staff is Rude, Hateful, have no compassion whatsoever! If you don't like your job then Go Find A New One! Remember how you treat these older people because your parent could end up in the same position and what if they are treated the same way you treat people!?!? You wouldn't like that very much! I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER recommend anyone go to this hospital unless you can have a relative stay 24/7 to make sure you aren't mistreated!
