I had the most welcoming experience at Oschner Urgent here in Lake Charles. Angie, Kim, and doctor Mitchell took really good care of me. They made sure to listen to everything that I said was wrong with me and helped to get better with the medications they prescribed. Not to mention I was seen in a timely manner and it didn’t take long at all for my visit. I highly recommend giving them a chance at helping you feel better when you’re down!

Went in at 7:10pm to see someone because I was having some bone on bone knee pain. I rushed get there from work because I know they close at 7:30pm. Soon as I ask to see someone. I seen the lady look at the time of course they were about to close. So now she tell me the lady who do x-ray's was not there. I told her I didn't hurt myself I don't need a x-ray..I have bone on bone knee pain. I said they can pull up my records and see what type of help I need this is where I come when my knees start hurting. She refused to see me. I always come to this urgent care this was a slap in the face. I didn't need a x-ray how did she know I needed a x-ray.I never had an x-ray before when I went to this place. It's just unreal how people who suppose to help us refuse to do that. So I want be going back

The nurse practitioner and medical assistant that saw me were very kind and respectful. They explained everything that was going on to me well. The problem I had was that the receptionist was very rude. When I was checking in and older couple came in, and she was rude to them in front of me. Then after my appointment I went back into urgent care to ask them a question about my excuse, and she had a terrible attitude towards me.

The lady at the counter lied about the status of my sons insurance because I came in close to close. Luckily Fast Pace on Nelson operates with integrity. Even though we were last minute walk ins Fast Pace took care of us. I'd avoid this Christus Oshners Urgent Care. They obviously could care less.
