Ocean Springs Hospital - Singing River Health System

I gave birth here a few years ago and felt that as time went on, I had no control over what was happening. They did not allow me to walk the halls/room or get in the shower due to "liability" concerns (I asked before and was told by staff that is why they have the showers) and many medical interventions were recommended or pushed under the threat that "I or my baby would die" without them. They essentially wanted me to stay in the bed and only get up to go to the bathroom. Intermittent monitoring was taken away due to staff being visibly frustrated at having to come back and readjust the monitor to get good readings. I was then forced to have constant monitoring in the bed where they still had to come back and readjust the monitors anyway. I was lied to by staff multiple times to get me to

I had a diagnostic procedure done today. Tyler and Dr Fairfield were AMAZING! Tyler explained everything and was such a blessing to have in the room with me. Dr Fairfield was very gentle and explained everything step by step as he was going. Thank you both for your amazing knowledge and caring about your patients!

I have read some bad reviews on here and also some good so I can only speak with my personal experience. We relocated from North Mississippi to Ocean Springs two weeks ago. My child broke his arm from the moment the ambulance got us to the hospital. they were absolutely amazing. They met us at the door 100% of their attention was on my child. Everyone was so nice the doctor, Robert Andrew Davee Was so good and gentle. They were also very kind. I can only speak great things on this hospital in the ER department. Thank you for taking care of him.

Worst hospital I've been to recently me and my fiancee had our first baby girl there and the staff was completely rude the whole time the nurses don't care about no one but themselves and only wanna make it through there shift. Being a RN is not a job to just sit around an collect a paycheck you have to actually care for people and be passionate unfortunately they are not that......now I am sitting here again 12/22/2025 at 11:32pm I've been here since 5pm and only seen the doctor once where again was rude and acted like she had somewhere better to be this hospital is joke and needs some serious help especially with the people they hire
