Ocean Springs Hospital Emergency Room

Went in last night with possible gallbladder pain. There were people waiting and one was bleeding profusely from her forehead and another from the chest. I finally got in for my vitals and they told me that they were short staffed, only TWO doctors and one was only seeing her “regulars”. (At an ER, at NIGHT, it was 9pm) regardless, he said there were NO BEDS, NO rooms, nothing and I should just probably go home and rest in my own bed! He said ni one is basically getting seen and if you wait it’d be all night and you must sit in ER area. I said well I hope I don’t go home and have my gallbladder burst! He said oh gosh I hope not but if it does take an ambulance bc anyone coming in in an ambulance can’t be made to wait. IS OCEAN SPRINGS FAILING UPWARDS? This is reverting back to Little Hous

I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors nurses and other staff at the Ocean Springs Hospital ER. I have been treated quickly and professionally by the professionals in the Ocean Springs Hospital Emergency Room. I have visited the ER because of existing medical conditions on several occasions and the quality of care has been exceptional. If you have an issue that needs medical assistance, don't hesitate to visit the ER here!

Husband went in to be seen and receptionist had his repeating information, yelling at him when he he was answering it to not her standards. He was very rude, unprofessional and he left there without being seen because she had him so mad! So his issue was put off till his Dr opens. And considering it took him days o suffering before finally going... im mad too

I go in pretty regularly for my afib/rvr. They take me back quickly. Have very wonderful Nurses, techs and Dr's. Just missing Dr. Patino

Sat in the ER for 5+ hours only to be told that it would be a couple hours wait every time someone asked. I understand that it’s not their faults about the wait but please be transparent about that. I was triaged as soon as I came in and have been waiting to be seen since then, but I cannot leave now due to insurance purposes. Edit to add to this that we got to the ER at 4:50pm and just left at 10:34pm after being told it would be a couple more hours again. Everyone who was there after me with similar symptoms was being called except me. I was sitting by the desk and could hear the reasons people were coming in. I did check before leaving and I was told I would not be billed and my insurance will take care of the triage payment plus the tests.
