Ocean Bay Dental Care

I needed some emergency dental care - my husband and I are on an extended winter getaway, so not near my own dentist - and these guys fit me in for an appointment. Lucky me! They offer the best care, they have the most compassionate people on staff, and my only problem is that I can’t have Dr. Steppe as my regular dentist without moving here. I am a dental-phobe (is there such a term?), and was practically in tears going in. I was laughing and hugging one gal on the way out. This practice gets an A+++ rating from me.

I recently visited Ocean Bay Dental Care and had a generally positive experience with the staff and facility. The office is clean, well-organized, and the entire process felt efficient. My hygienist was great, and the location is convenient. My interaction with the dentist was super brief. A quick "FYI" for fellow newcomers regarding the check-out process. There is a bit of a push for add-on services- specifically, I was offered an oral cancer screening and fluoride treatment. While these are great options, it wasn’t mentioned that they weren't covered by insurance, so I was surprised by the out-of-pocket charges at the end. There was also some significant upselling for things like Invisalign and sealings that felt a bit unnecessary for my current needs. I wouldn’t say I won’t be back, a

Thank you, Dr. Steppe, and your staff for the outstanding work on my anterior implant crown. Replacing a front tooth can feel stressful, but I felt confident and well cared for every step of the way. The final result looks completely natural. I truly appreciate your skill and dedication to getting everything just right! I highly recommend this practice.

I went to Ocean Bay for the first time and Mary did my cleaning. She made me feel comfortable as I am anxious when X- rays are taken. I met Dr. Steppe who was very nice as well. He took time to see if I had any questions or concerns regarding my dental health. I definitely recommend Ocean Bay if you’re looking for a new practice.
