I visited OccuMed Plus in McKinney recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the front-desk staff during check-in. While waiting, I observed the front-desk employee return other guests’ driver’s licenses and paperwork directly into their hands. However, when it was my turn, my license and paperwork were placed on the counter instead of being handed to me, requiring me to pick them up myself. This inconsistency stood out because it differed from how others were treated moments before and felt unprofessional and dismissive. The difference in handling made me uncomfortable and gave the impression that I was being treated differently without any clear explanation. I am not sure anyone knows this, but they always say 'Our internet is down.' I personally think it's an excuse to not work or someone did not show up for their shift. What exactly do they get paid for? Sit and play on their phones?

When I say the staff there has very nasty attitudes and very mean I mean just that . I didn’t even trust my urine to be ran correctly or not tampered with because of that . I asked them what kind of order did they go by with me being the first person there and other people going before me when we were there for the same reasons that made them have even worse attitudes . I asked for the lady’s name that handles my urine and she “ looked at me crazy and yelled for what “ on top of when I went into the bathroom it was nasty with urine from the previous people still in the toilet . AND WHAT CONCERNS ME IS THERE IS A MINOR SITTING IN THE OFFICE WITH THEM BEHIND THE GLASS WERE PERSONAL INFORMATION IS SHARED WHICH MEANS THAT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ISNT SAFE THERE BECAUSE KIDS OF THAT AGE DONT

Didn’t take long for me to be seen and the nurse practitioner was very thorough about what was going on with me. She helped understand my injury better.

Slow service, unprofessional staff were having personal conversations that did not stop when new patients walked in. Waited almost 20 minutes to be seen, then another few minutes to see the dr for physical. Dr and shadow (Hannah) were very kind though I would not return if I didn’t have to. They almost forgot my TB test so waited another few minutes for that. The girl performing the drug screen was very polite and professional and made the visit less bothersome.
