We had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience with a staff member in Room 115。 Her shift is supposed to begin at 8:00 AM, but she did not arrive at her station until after 9:00 AM. When she finally came in, she immediately closed the door and began organizing her personal belongings. She did not greet us or acknowledge that we had been waiting. Instead, she simply waved her hand through the small glass window in the door without looking up. If we had not noticed, we would not have known she was calling us in. She made no effort to open the door or communicate with us directly. Once we entered the room, the interaction did not improve. Had an appointment 16 January 2026 with optical. Megan and Dr Merijivar did my exam. This office is exceptional. Visit was on time and the attention to my situation was much appreciated. I didn't retain the lady that fitted my glasses, she was extremely patient and helped me get frames. My experience at the Ocala va have been the best.

It's the VA, forever short staffed and utilized to the maximum extent possible. May I highlight TWO SUPERSTARS!! HOPE is and always superior in customer service, information and assistance. I've had her literally order at least 8 or 9 pairs of glasses.. she's an irreplaceable asset .. Dr Nunez after countless old Drs who are why changes are being made and had to be made, the retired on civil service while working made the VA . miserable and zero stars !!! i.e Mental health VA facility after facility made you want to commit suicide, confrontational, and hateful. The Red 4 Team is absolutely amazing! The staff are happy, friendly, and genuinely enjoy what they do. The team was very thorough and made sure to address all issues. I did not feel like a number but an actual person, which is very rare in Florida medical. 10 out of 10. Primary care, labs, all of them were infectiously happy. It was an amazing experience and I am glad to have found such a welcoming location.

It's always great. They really take care of their veterans there. I'm very pleased all the va's that have ever been to are great. I've never had a bad experience at a VA. They've always treated all their veterans that I could see with respect and honor
