Oaks At Avon

This place should be zero stars! They did a terrible job of taking care of my mother she was badly dehydrated and not taken care of! I would not recommend this awful place to anybody. Please do not send your loved ones here if you can help it. Just like other reviews I have seen they were not good about giving her her medication and gave her way too many bags of fluid at once. I feel she may have died within a week if I had not gotten her out of there. Disgusting.

Absolutely the worst place to have your loved one at, the housekeepers suck they don’t wipe off bed or clean properly, the CNAS take their time getting to the clients, they talk badly about the clients there and don’t care about them at all! Would never recommend a place like this. Suprised they’re not shut down yet.

When it became clear that my aunt would benefit from a period of rehab after a two week stay in the hospital, I went in search of a facility and a staff that would satisfy a family with high expectations for competent and compassionate care and service. The Oaks was a great fit for us. Their facility is nicely appointed, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff are dedicated, responsive, and accommodating. It was a great choice for my aunt and far better than the option of trying to take care of her at home through private duty care. Keep in mind that no one is happy to need rehab, but those who do, seem very fortunate to have The Oaks of Avon!

I met with Monica, the Admissions Director regarding my 88 year old mother that’s in the hospital and I have reached out several times and she has answered personally every time! Answered all of my questions! She put me and my sister at ease knowing our mom will be in good hands while in rehab! The facility smelled so good too! I couldn’t believe how clean it was!
