Great pharmacy. After years of using big chain pharmacies, my insurance made customers change to smaller pharmacies. The pharmacist and staff here are wonderful, never have to wait even when a Dr just sent the rx for a sick child or adult. Refills always ready when promised and they call The doctor when needed. Highly recommend!

I walked in for a Covid booster, this is the place I always get vaccines. I filled out the paper and waited and waited for over a half hour. Finally I stood up and asked how long more I have to wait , I would come back next day. The pharmacist said they were out of the vaccines. Just don’t understand the reason they couldn’t tell me in the first place. And there’s no apologies. Hope it’s not racism.

My mother who is in her late sixties had regularly used this pharmacy. My mother is physically disabled and unable to walk without a walker. This pharmacy markets itself as being convenient because it's supposed to deliver your medicine. My mother actually lives in oakland, and there are various parts of the property that are difficult for her to walk on. The pharmacy continued to deliver the medicine to various doors that my mother could not actually reach. We placed various signs printed largely in English "Do not leave packages here." When I called the pharmacy to express my concern I spoke to pharmacist Dipap, a seemingly kind Indian Gentleman, and he told me that my disabled mother needed "to stop complaining" and could use a different pharmacy. I called Oakland Drugs to ensure that they had Covid tests available for my little one who is in school. They ensured me that I just had to sign up on their website. I received a confirmation email with my scheduled appointment time. We showed up on time and called as directed only to be told that there are no test. What followed was a convoluted conversation where I attempted to decipher exactly what is the process and what is the point of making an appointment is the testing is unavailable. I was told when they showed up it would be first come first serve and that the appointment MAY reserve a test for me but also may not. Most likely not. It wasn't the fact that tests were unavailable, it was simply how RUDE and unapologetic the owner was. Absolutely horrible experience.
