NYU Specialty Pharmacy

The service is way too unreliable and I am no longer using them for my medication. My medication was suppose to be delivered between 5 pm and 9 pm but arrived at 10:30 pm after I went to bed. First thing Monday morning, I called and was told I would get a call back. I called 6 more times and kept being told I would get a call back. When someone finally called back they said the package would go out for delivery Monday night. I contacted the carrier and the pharmacy never gave them the package. I am now going to miss a dose of medication because they could deliver the medication in the windows they said they would. I wouldn’t trust them with important scripts or medication.

This service is not reliable and I am no longer using it. I am frustrated by medicines that are not renewed automatically and then not delivered on time. The team is well meaning but shows little in the way of competence or ownership of mistakes. I am going back to a brick and mortar pharmacy--at least there it is possible to develop a relationship with staff rather than have a different person each time you call. There was a NYU SP staff member who was amazing. He left and now deliveries are missed and noone takes ownership.

Love that this place delivers, all my deliveries have bee great, and most of the people who call you to confirm are super friendly and helpful. But god help you if you have a doctor not in the NYU system send in an Rx. You have to do everything yourself to make sure they give you the Rx. There is something about their system that blocks or hides any kind of Rx from out of network. Be your own advocate.

Abysmal, unreliable service. Missed doses because of poor communication. Stay away if possible. (Sometimes there is little choice).

Great service. Been getting my meds on a monthly basis for the past year and Always on time!
