NYU Langone Radiology

I underwent a brain MRI here yesterday and the experience was a pleasant one. I won't go so far as to say that it was fun but it helped that the people attending to me were friendly and professional. These people included the front desk staff; the technician, Kristen, who administered the MRI; and a young man named Nikita who was super-nice and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Amongst other courtesies, he arranged for me to hear through headphones one of my favorite Bach cantatas, Wachet Auf, Ruft Uns Die Stimme, BWV 140, and he set it to play at the moderate volume that I had requested.

Been taking my husband & myself here for years, they are so polite & accommodating, always pleasant. Even call if an earlier appointment comes up. Wait time is not long at all. They make you feel very comfortable & show they care about you..

I had a terrible experience at NYU Langone Radiology at 813 Quentin Rd. My MRI appointment was scheduled for 6:30 AM, and the NYU Langone app specifically instructed me to arrive at that time. However, when I got there, the entire office was closed. I ended up standing outside in the cold winter weather for 15 minutes, waiting for someone to show up and open the doors. When the first staff member finally arrived, I politely explained the situation. Instead of apologizing or offering any explanation, he was extremely rude and told me he doesn’t care what the NYU Langone app says because this location is a “private office just affiliated with NYU Langone.” This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable—especially from a facility carrying the NYU Langone name. Be aware of new rules which they tell u only once u arrive. NYU app is not accurate with times for your appointment, they have access and change times, then blame u for not arriving on time. People keep on changing there so noone takes any responsibility nor complaints seriously.

Terrible place, my appointment was scheduled, but on the day I had a stomach ache and was restricted from taking Tylenol, I called to notify them that I would be late, no one answered. I proceeded to go, they told me I could not be seen, gaslight me saying that I confirmed that I would come at the time said...but they know things can change in a matter of seconds.
