NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital. I don’t even have the patience to write it all out. -there was a random cop charging his phone in my room which is definitely a hippa violation -the staff had inappropriate conversation about drug use right outside the rooms -they were extremely slow and not in a normal hospital way. I mean 3 hours to see the doctor. -they left cups of urine(the one in the picture is bloody urine for a patient that was already discharged 2 hours prior) in the room -after waiting multiple hours without seeing my Dr or nurse, I almost took out my own IV Honestly the list goes on…. Please do not go here looking for any type of professionalism or resolution.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Gabrielle Centenari, an RN who cared for my father during his stay at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn . From the very first interaction, Gabrielle stood out for her warmth, compassion, and professionalism. (She’s also VERY funny) NYU Langone located at 150 55st in Brooklyn. My dad stayed 3 days in the hospital. He is a senior citizen and some nurses were a bit rough with him when he was alone. He raved about Gabrielle and how she should get a raise for working so hard and being so kind. We need more nurses like her in the world!

This is my third time coming to the emergency room at this hospital. Honestly, every visit has left a very good impression on me. The first time was for my father’s foot injury, and it was handled very quickly. The second time was when my mother had severe stomach pain, which later turned out to be gallstones and led to gallbladder removal surgery. Her hospitalization afterward was also a very good experience. I’m not sure why the rooms were changed so often, but the food and overall care were both excellent. This time, it was me. I hit my head and needed a few stitches. I thought Dr. Franck would be the one stitching me up, but he seemed to appear only when they were explaining my condition. NYU has the best medical services that I’ve encountered in my lifetime, which includes this particular pharmacy. The staff is wonderfully friendly and professional. Any questions I have are answered with patience and respect. I highly recommend this pharmacy to everyone.
