My family and I have had great experiences at McKinney. Although no organization is perfect, we continue to receive quality care from this facility for our loved ones. We will continue to recommend this facility highly to anyone in need of short-term or long-term care.

At first glance this Facility felt pretty ok and the staff I thought were too but as the months went by we've had not so great encounters with the staff regarding my father and his stay here from the food (not so good) to my dad's clothing disappearing and the numerous phone calls at night when we left after visits about things they should know about when he was discharged to this facility from a hospital stay to say the least. This Facility just need to do better with their patients like seriously think if that was your family member? I'm sure they would want the best treatment for them.

My 86 year young mother was admitted to this facility on March 6 and was there about 31/2 weeks. She has CHF and was in the hospital 30 days & had lost body mass. The rehab portion is excellent because they work the patients. Like any heath care facility today, there is a staff shortage problem. If I'm visiting my mother and she has to wait 20 + minutes for assistance to use the bathroom, imagine how long she has to wait when I'm not there. Mom said sometime an hour. Most of the staff are very nice, but family presence is definitely necessary. Mom had a incident 1st night which I had to address with administration the following day. Needless to say that never happened again. They have really nice activities for the patients. The facility was clean and the rooms are bright. The food was ho

My work takes me to all the nursing homes in the 5 boroughs. I must say the security AND staff that works the 2 front desks in the lobby must hate their jobs. The rudeness towards visitors is on another level. The head scratcher is that the personnel is always different. Do you have to be rude towards your fellow man in order to work here? Even though the social worker was very nice, I would rather drive further to another nursing home before I place another family member in here for rehab again.

It took only 20days to make my Mothers condition worst than before. The food was horrible, my Mom went in to get strength to walk pt was limited something they did not tell me, do to COVID and they released her not walking and almost 10bd lighter. Half her clothes did come back. Nurses appear nice but service here was not up to par. Do not send or let your love one chose here. 2 stars was a qift.
