This was the worst day of my life. I had one of the most traumatic and unacceptable experiences I have ever had at a hospital. I genuinely felt that my life was put at risk due to discrimination, and I believe I was neglected because of the color of my skin. Thankfully, I made the decision to leave and received proper medical care at another facility. If you are African American or Hispanic, I strongly urge you to be extremely cautious about seeking care here. I did not feel safe, respected, or properly treated at any point during my visit. I recently had surgery at Lincoln Hospital under the care of Dr. Vijay Palvia (Complex Gyn Surgeon), and I must say it was the best medical service I have ever received. Dr. Vijay Palvia provides kind and attentive treatment. From the very beginning his attitude and attention were excellent. He pays close attention to his patients, listens to them, and provides the best solutions for each case. Before, during and after the surgery, he accompanies his patients and makes them feel calm and unafraid of the surgical procedure. He answers all of the patient's questions and concerns with patience and kindness. God bless him.

Dr. Pimsler has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years, starting from Brookdale Hospital. From there, my family and I followed him to AdvantageCare, Northwell in Long Island, and now Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx — because that’s how much we trust him. He is truly one of a kind. He takes his time, listens with patience, and makes sure you fully understand everything before you leave. You never feel rushed — you feel genuinely cared for. That level of compassion and dedication is rare in healthcare today. He has been an incredible blessing to me and my entire family. I don’t mean to come off rude but Lincoln will always be Lincoln. They’ve renovated and changed some things over the years but it’s still a mess there. Unsanitary waiting areas, unethical and unprofessional MD’s, PA’s, RN’s etc,., I had to get my blood drawn and I mentioned that I would like some privacy while doing so and suggest the RN close the curtain if she wouldn’t at least close the door. Is privacy not a thing anymore ? Also, as I’m sitting to get my vitals checked the Nurse is eating an orange in between everything that’s she does and leave the orange peel at the station. 🤯

My first time at this hospital. I had to go to the ER due to excruciating pain which turned out to be Kidney Stones. I’ll start off by saying the care I received was outstanding and excellent by the doctor and nurses… but I was nervous at first because to be honest, the place did not seem clean. I know the hospital is older but it was dirty, specifically the waiting room, triage rooms, and bathrooms. I appreciated the security guard at the front because there were several situations he had to step in on. I have to shoutout Dr. Rodriguez. His bedside manner was incredible. Often I feel like doctors want you in and out and don’t hear you out, but Dr. Rodriguez fully heard me out, explained things well, and was so so kind.
