Nuvana Health Clinic

The receptionist was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Unfortunately, our experience with the nurse practitioner was extremely disappointing. I brought my mother in for an appointment. She has insurance through her employer, but her visits require prior approval before services are covered. The NP advised that because her insurance was not considered “typical,” payment for services would need to be made upfront. As a result, my mother paid out of pocket for her physical exam and bloodwork. Between the back-and-forth with insurance and waiting to be seen, we were there for approximately three hours. At checkout, my mother requested a medical excuse note for her employer. The NP initially refused, stating that the visit was not an “urgent matter.” This was very upset

It’s so nice to have Nuvana Health Clinic in my area. The staff is very friendly and welcoming my problems and concerns are always addressed and the wait is never very long. Katherine Foley, NP is knowledgeable and tries to help in any way that she can, she’s a great primary care provider. I have always had a great experience at Nuvana and recommend the clinic and Katherine to all of my friends and family members.

I absolutely adore the nurse practitioner. However the front desk staff is rude. I spoke with Katherine CMA and she was extremely rude and began to yell at me. When I asked if I could speaker Kat NP she said I could only see her during my appointment (Which I had previously scheduled) I spoke to my pharmacy and the pharmacist was very upset about how she was spoken to by CMA as well. I knew the conversation was over with the CMA when she slammed the phone down in my ear. She is very unprofessional and extremely rude.But the NP is kind, professional and listens to her patients. Unfortunately for her she will probably loose a lot of patients because of how rude the staff is.

I am always greeted nicely and am assessed correctly. Kat treats me with respect and is very understanding. She is very skilled in her work and I barely feel any pain whenever she does my blood work. I am doing much better ever since I started coming here. The MAs and NPs are also attentive and dedicated to their work and everyone helps each other. Exceptional service.
