Nutmeg Pharmacy Moodus

Nutmeg pharmacy seems to secretly charge full price for some prescriptions even if you have health insurance. Always have to check to make sure you're not getting ripped off. Also, some of the pharmacy staff like Raven and McKenzie to name a few.. have a very rude and impatient tone of voice over the phone consistently. They seems annoyed every single time I speak with them. Sometimes when I call in advance for pick up the employees say the prescription is "ready" but when I get there they have to count it or check it or you have to wait a few minutes for whatever the reason may be. Very inconvenient and aggravating especially when I go on my work break. Some staff however, are super sweet. I have been a frequent customer of Nutmeg Pharmacy for several years. I have always advocated for how much better they are than the big pharmacies, and told everyone they should go there. I even change my health insurance, specifically so I could continued using them. Unfortunately, they have hired a new pharmacist seemingly right out of college, who has completely changed my view. Her terrible treatment of me as a loyal customer, leaves me wondering if I wouldn’t be better off paying for cheaper prescriptions at CVS. As long as she is there, I feel that I will be nothing more than a number either way.

They stole 11 cents from me. I bought dental floss and the person at the counter entered in that I handed her a 50. The change was 47.56. She takes out a calculator and I say, yeah, it's two fifty six, because I gave her a five. She types something in on the calculator and then says here's your two forty five. Not sure if ripping people off is something they do all the time there, but it's my first time going, and it's also my last time going.

Very happy with Nutmeg Pharmacy. The Pharmacist is always happy to help with questions regarding medication. Staff is friendly and efficient. Nice arrays of OTC and gift ideas.

Friendly with everyone we encountered. My 5 RX were put into a Dispill pack that helped me take them at the right times through out the 5 weeks after surgery.
