NSI | NeuroSkeletal Imaging of Merritt Island

I have been using NSI for 8 years for all my imaging. MRI, CT, and X ray. It’s a great place. It’s always clean and the desk staff are professional and friendly. I had a shoulder MRI today and it went great. They took me in early and the test moved along smoothly. I’m truly grateful to have NSI close by. I’ll keep using them for all my imaging needs. I have been waiting six weeks to get an MRI. They said they needed more information from my doctor’s office but in reality, they had what they needed ten days prior and failed to follow through with getting insurance approval. They made, cancelled and delayed appointment after appointment (5 now and counting) and when I thought I was finally getting closer to having an MRI scheduled this week, I discovered that they made the appointment at the wrong location. When I called to cancel and reschedule, the staff was rude. I am not sure what to think about NSI - they seem to have good reviews - but this is my first visit there and I am less than impressed. Hope their medical staff is better than their office staff.

I work in a medical practice that refers a lot of business to NSI. I have been told by many a patient that the Merritt Island location has very very rude employees. This morning they yelled at one of our patients and told them " Go ahead and leave we do not care" I am sure that employee did not care as it did not cost her anything. It did cost NSI because the patient left with out getting the scan. I am sure it did not cost them enough to do anything about it. The patients appt was at 6:45 am and they opened the door and 6:47am with no explanation or apology for being late and then reprimanded the patient stating you know we do not open to 6:45am we told you that. The patient was never told any of that , but besides the point what business yells at their customers. I did call and spok

I had an excellent experience today thanks to Debbie Y., the CT tech. She went above & beyond to make sure I was taken care of and even made my results stat so I could get answers about my pain sooner—without me even asking. Her kindness, efficiency, and genuine care really stood out. I also want to thank Sherry at the front desk, who worked some magic to get me in today even though my appointment wasn’t scheduled until next week. I am so grateful to both of them for their compassion and dedication—it made a stressful situation so much easier.

The front desk was so pleasant and efficient...I mean, the people were. The medical staff was the same. It was one of the quickest and most pleasant medical visits I have had in a long time.
